Venice, 2002
Venice is a must-see city; you are confronted at every turn with a view of beautifully preserved mediaeval streets and buildings linked by a labyrinth of still canals. We stayed in Venice a few days before heading to Croatia (where I deleted all of my photos by mistake!), and then returning for our daytrip to Verona and one last day in which I took the photos below.
