a year Down Under

The adventure began on 18th March 2003, when I got a Singapore Airlines jet at Heathrow, having been deflected to the right terminal by my friends...

I spent the first three months zipping around the east coast, across the north, and down the west, before training it back across the south to Sydney, where I lived for nine fun-filled marvellous months. During that time, I met a huge bunch of people who I hope will all come and visit me at some point, and who I hope to see again when I make it back to Australia.

day by day, week by week

You can read the archived entries of my journal by choosing a month from the nav above, or just glance at the map for a visual idea of where I went. If you roll your mouse over the spots, you'll get the name too.

You can also read about where I called home in Sydney.
